Long Walk Vineyard

About the winery
Long Walk Vineyard is located on a historic property in the hills above Ashland and the Rogue Valley. Long Walk is certified organic by Oregon Tilth, with eleven acres of estate grown vines. Long Walk’s main focus is on Rhône varietals, including single varietal expressions of Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache and Carignane, along with two red blends (Field Notes and the premium Field of Stars) and a Cinsaut-focused Rose. Long Walk also produces a limited amount of Zinfandel from estate grapes, and Sauvignon Blanc from grapes sourced from a nearby vineyard. Long Walk bottles approximately 1200 cases of natural, old world-style wine per year. The Long Walk Tasting House is made of reconstructed materials from the property, reflecting our commitment to sustainability, and contains a wraparound deck and extensive patio seating. The Tasting House is a place to relax with food, friends, and family, and to enjoy Long Walk wines along with unbeatable views of the vineyard, the valley, and the mountains beyond.
What makes it different
- Long Walk Vineyard is the only winery in Ashland with organic wines.
- Long Walk Vineyard's tasting house was built from repurposed materials from an old barn on the property, with views of the Rogue Valley.(from the winery)

- EventSundown at Long Walk Vineyard - Winter Edition 2020-2021
October 25, 2020 Hello Friends, 2020 has seen many changes to the world, to our Valley, and to our daily lives. One of the constants in life is community and a need to come together for safe and relaxing experiences. Here at Long Walk Vineyard, we have seen an incredible enthusiasm and support for our monthly event series: Sundown at Long Walk Vineyard. One evening a month, we partner with one of our favorite local restaurants/chefs to bring you an evening of delicious food and Long Walk wines, while enjoying time outside of our homes. The Long Walk Vineyard Tasting House has one of the very best views in the Rogue Valley and is the perfect spot for individual and group experiences that are socially distant. MOVING INTO LATE AUTUMN-WINTER - We have spent the last month working out the details to serve you safely at the Tasting House as the weather turns cooler and the days shorter. We will be continuing the Sundown Events as well and are very excited about our new set up. We will continue to serve guests on the covered porch, offering freshly laundered blankets to our guests on a first-come, first-served basis. We have invested in beautiful, thick, cozy blankets that can be laundered daily for COVID-safety. We also have purchased gorgeous propane powered fire pits for warmth and atmosphere! Inside our Tasting House, we will be offering appropriate social distancing seating, while keep our roll-up doors partially open to offer a well-ventilated space. Guests inside will be offered cozy blankets as well. The winter landscape here at the property is stunning. Think of the experience as the best of “Aprés Ski” in Europe (without the actual skiing!). Incredible views, delicious red wines, a charcuterie plate and lots of fresh air. SUNDOWN SCHEDULE - 2020 Sundown will continue with our next event being Saturday November 14 from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm and featuring Hither’s famous Fried Chicken and Biscuits. Saturday December 12 will be our final Sundown of the year and will be holiday themed. More information to come soon. Sign up for our email list to get all the latest information on our events and experiences. We can’t wait to host you.
