About
Atmosphere We welcome you to our cozy, colorful, downtown tasting room in the heart of Dundee. Experience our wines through a guided tasting experience with our educated staff in a room full of books, art, and wine. We have a rotating, curated tasting experience highlighting the diversity of our estate vineyard and distinct styles of wine production. We invite you to explore with us! Wines We specialize in estate-grown, organically farmed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from our Aegrina Vineyard located in McMinnville AVA. The diverse styles of Pinot Noir we produce come from the various slopes and soils on our vineyard in addition to the various clonal selections planted. The fruit we grow on Aegrina Vineyard is notable due to bright acidity, concentrated flavors, and lifted aromatics. Our Estate wines showcase a quintessential example of the vineyard and vintage. The Estate Pinot Noir is comprised of a blend of clones aged in very little new oak making it a fresh and vibrant example of the fruit we grow. The Estate Chardonnay is the singular example of Chardonnay we make each year and it expresses the Aegrina Vineyard through acidity and French-inspired finesse. Our Literati Series Pinot Noirs are our top-tier of wines made in very small-batches (less than 150 cases each) from selected vineyard blocks. Their titles are book-inspired (Title Page, Rare Imprint, Perfect Bind, and End Papers) and each represent the most diverse expressions of Pinot Noir on Aegrina Vineyard. Winemaking Our wines were made by McMinnville AVA expert Robert Brittan until 2022 when the torch was passed to Francois Millet. Millet is a legend of Burgundy and brings his deep well of old-world knowledge to our winemaking style. Throughout his career, Millet emphasized sustainable practices, reducing the use of chemicals and herbicides in the vineyards, opting for natural means for disease management. His commitment to sustainable farming, a demonstrates his dedication to preserving the integrity of the vineyards. His philosophy in the cellar also emphasizes minimal intervention and the subtle use of new oak barrels to ensure the expression of terroir, reflects his meticulous approach. Millet believes in translating the beauty of nature through the vintage, respecting the mood of the terroir, and avoiding forceful techniques that could compromise the wine’s natural character. His legacy in the wine industry is marked by his commitment to quality, sustainable viticulture, and his innovative approach to winemaking, has made him a respected figure in the world of wine.
