About the winery
Adega Northwest is a boutique urban winery showcasing fine hand-crafted European inspired wines. Located in Portland, Oregon, Adega Northwest is part of a growing and exciting movement of distinguished wineries producing wines in city environs. Owned by Winemaker Bradford Cowin and his business partner Darren Harris, the name Adega (wine cellar) pays homage to the winemaker’s Portuguese ancestry. Adega Northwest sources fruit from some of the finest vineyards in Washington State and Oregon, with the goal of producing wines with an identity and sense of place.
What makes it different
- Adega Northwest was founded in 2014 by winemaker Bradford Cowin together with his mother, Tana Mendes Bidwell, honoring the family's Portuguese ancestry.(from the winery)
