An amazing Friday night is coming together at Shumaker Vineyards. Introducing - Vines after Five! On September 18, we’re bringing together live music from Bill Hernandez, dinner from local family-run Dongbei Dimple Dumplings, and plenty of our wine. The evening runs from 5pm to 8pm, with food and music starting at 5.30pm. Tickets are $25 for Wine Club members and $30 for non-members, with wine available to purchase separately by the glass or bottle throughout the evening. Space is intentionally limited, so if this sounds like your kind of Friday night, head to our website to grab your spot. We’d love to have you there.

Book Club & Wine Event, NUMBER 2! FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2026 6-7:30 pm Join us for our second edition of this FREE members‑only experience at Shumaker Vineyards—an intimate Book & Wine tasting where members come together to share ideas, discover new favorites, and enjoy exceptional wine in good company. Our inaugural Book Club nd Wine event occurred on August 17 and was resounding success. For those who couldn’t attend, this is not a traditional book club, but rather each gathering will be shaped by you. We invite every guest to bring a favorite book—one that has stayed with you, inspired you, or simply brought you joy. You will have the opportunity to briefly share why it matters to you, creating a rich and personal exchange of ideas and stories. We are so excited to learn about your favorites and add titles to our library! Each event will be comprised of a theme. The theme for November is yet to be determined, so stay tuned. To complement the evening, we encourage you to bring a small dish or snack inspired by your chosen book—something that reflects its setting, mood, or meaning. Paired with our curated flight of wines, the experience becomes a sensory exploration of literature, flavor, and connection. Of course, wine will also be available for sale by the glass or bottle for on-site consumption or to take away. This will be a relaxed, intimate gathering held in our tasting room, with limited seating for the FIRST 30 guests, to preserve the atmosphere. This is a members only event, however, each member may bring one guest! We envision a space where conversation flows easily, discoveries are shared, and the visit feels welcoming. Celebrate in the streets of Forest Grove for the downtown annual “Uncorked” event. This event features Oregon's abundance of fine wineries, micro-brew, spirits, skillfully crafted food, fine arts, and local music talent. Stroll Main Street to see what’s what, hear the live music (dance in the street if you like), enjoy all there is to taste, and participate in a raffle for a chance to win a half wine barrel full of wine-related wares!100% of the raffle proceeds are donated to our charity. We are thrilled to invite you to a special collaborative gathering at our Gaston winery, hosted by our beloved winemakers and featuring the incredible Chef Elise Landry, winner of Chopped: Next Generation. She is the mastermind behind the Cajun- inspired magic at Olympia’s Chicory Restaurant. Raised in Kansas City, with deep Cajun roots, Elise grew up surrounded by BBQs, jambalaya pots, and crawfish boils, all flavors that shaped her soulful cooking. When she crossed paths with our own Bree, whose childhood in Australia was steeped in cultural comfort food, it was friendship at first bite. Now, Elise is bringing her soulful culinary style to Gaston. Expect a laid-back afternoon with delicious eats, beautiful wines and hospitality that fills you from the inside out.
